自分だけの“一体”をつくるワークショップ

A workshop to create your own animal sculpture from B-grade hangers

COPACKと共に開発したアップサイクルプロダクト“CLOSET ANIMAL”を軸とした、ワークショップを企画しました。売れなくなったB品ハンガーをいくつかのパターンに切り分け、さまざまなカタチの木片を用意、参加者はその木片を組み合わせ、自由に“動物”をつくることができます。ちょっとした傷や塗装ムラなどが原因で、B品として販売できなくなってしまう製品の背景やメーカーの試行錯誤、世の中に溢れる環境課題について、遊びの中で学べる機会を計画。COPACKが定期開催しているイベント「東東京市」での恒例コンテンツとなっています。

Developed in collaboration with COPACK, we have designed a workshop centered around the upcycled product "CLOSET ANIMAL". We've segmented several unsellable B-grade hangers into various patterns and prepared wooden pieces of different shapes. Participants will have the opportunity to assemble these wooden pieces freely to create their own 'animals.' Through this playful activity, we aim to shed light on the background of products rendered unsellable due to minor flaws like scratches or uneven paint, the manufacturer's trial and error, and the prevalent environmental challenges in society. This workshop serves as a platform for learning within the realm of play. It has become a staple content at events such as COPACK's regular "HIGASHI TOKYO ICHI" gatherings.
